Agnes Scott College

Assessment & Study of Three Buildings

Decatur, GA

Lord Aeck Sargent performed an architectural assessment and study of three historic buildings on the Agnes Scott College campus: Agnes Scott Hall (or “Main”), Rebekah Scott Hall, and Campbell Hall.

The three buildings were evaluated for three (3) levels of work:

  • Level I: “stabilization” scope of work based upon assessment of the existing buildings and recommendations for work needed in the near future in order to address outstanding issues.
  • Level II: “enhanced” scope of work with recommendations for upgrades as may be desired by Agnes Scott to improve the existing facilities if left in their current configuration and use.
  • Level III: new building layouts and uses in response to visioning meetings that project future larger-scale changes to the campus.

All building work on-campus shall conform to LEED Silver (minimum) standards as required by campus standards.
