The new Student Center at Augusta State University is designed as an addition to the Reese Library. It creates a new combined center for the academic and social life of students. Located on the main quadrangle at the center of the campus, the building contains a food court and kitchen, student government offices, study areas, student club meeting rooms, a copy center, game room, fitness center and administrative offices along with a cyber cafe Atrium.
The building provides an engaging and exciting environment for student activities and serves as both the symbolic and functional center of the University. Lord, Aeck & Sargent designed this facility in collaboration with 2KM Architects.
