Atlanta Beltline Street Framework
Atlanta, GA
In conjunction with the Urban Design studio at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), and the Atlanta Planning Department, Lord, Aeck & Sargent prepared a street framework study along the Beltline corridor. The street framework plan identifies existing industrial parcels and identifies where public street connection shall be made with the adjacent neighborhoods to reintroduce a more urban street fabric.
The development of these blocks and designation of the future street types within these areas establishes a street hierarchy that connects the neighborhoods to the Beltline while creating flexible development parcels framed by public right of ways.
