The Edge

Lord, Aeck & Sargent designed a high-rise residential tower project in downtown St. Petersburg.  If built, The Edge would include 189 upscale condominiums, 13,300 sf of commercial/retail space at street level and three floors of corporate office space at the top of the building. The planned five-level, 411-space parking deck design included an amenity deck featuring a pool and club room.

The corporate office entry was planned at the northeast corner of the block and would be accessed through an urban plaza oriented toward the corner. The corporate office circulation tower, clad in a multimedia screen, would distinguish the building’s location from the other downtown towers The residential lobby would be accessed via a porte cochere at the northwest corner of the site.

The design of the residential tower’s gently curved façade maximizes the dynamic views of both downtown and Tampa Bay.
