Manufacturing Research Center

The Manufacturing Research Center provides space for Georgia industries to collaborate on research projects with Georgia Tech faculty and students. The Center was designed to be adaptable to the needs of the various organizations that would be conducting research for limited time spans.
An inboard utility shaft that was split, expanded and transformed into a 60-foot tall utility atrium topped by skylights separates two double-loaded corridors, with offices along the outer walls and labs along the inside. Teaching spaces include classrooms, laboratories and conference rooms.
