- More than 20 years experience with a specific focus on strategic facility planning and programming for institutions of higher education and not-for-profit organizations.
- Previously served as a university development officer for a four-year, public research institution and has first-hand knowledge of the both the benefits and challenges created by capital project planning and execution.
- Received a Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Science – Building Sciences from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University.
- Certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
- Serves on the Board of Directors for the Society of College & University Planning (2011 - 2014); Member of the Advisory Council for the Architecture Department at Southern Polytechnic State University; and Corporate Partner for the South Atlanta School of Engineering and Computer Sciences.
- Past Board Member of the Georgia Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and recipient of two Presidential Citations for service to the chapter.
- Architect for the re-design of the Jim Thorpe Memorial in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, and a design competition winner for the Rensselaer County Vietnam Memorial in Troy, New York.
- Past community service includes: Advisory Council for the School of Accountancy at Georgia State University; Business Volunteer for the Arts for the Metro Atlanta Arts & Business Council / Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce; Board Member and recipient of the 300th Wish Award for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northeast NY; and Board Member for Vet Care Corp. at the Stratton VA Medical Center.
- An award-winning graphic designer, other interests include volleyball and cooking.
