My name is Lauren Dunn Rockart. Married to a professor with three young children, I came to Chapel Hill as a "trailing spouse" by way of positions in London and Boston. Lord, Aeck & Sargent was attractive to me because of the focus we have on developing well-rounded professionals.
The recognition that what we do outside of the office is equally important to what we do inside allows me to work on engaging architecture while still enabling me to be heavily involved in my daughters' lives.
Our office in Chapel Hill is an environment which has the best of both worlds; we are a dynamic small group with diverse interests and abilities and, because of our size, we must be willing and able to shoulder a range of tasks. At the same time, we have the incredible Atlanta office to draw upon as a resource for any topic encountered.
