Lord Aeck Sargent designed a new dining facility, which occupies one of the most prominent sites at the center of campus and provides seating for 900 students on two levels.
The project also includes a 250-seat banquet hall as well as an elevated roof terrace with outdoor seating that overlooks the historic Drill Field. The Dining Hall is based on a modified version of the fresh food concept with a back-of-house supporting a number of “cooked to order” food stations. Separate salad, brick-oven pizza and Mongolian grill satellites provide bar stool seating and create spaces of differing character. The facility contains a grand dining space, more intimate dining spaces upstairs, student club dining zones as well as a leasable banquet hall and president’s dining room.
