The New Preparatory School Building supports the growing needs of students enrolled in Georgia Military Colleges (GMC) 6th through 12th grade school curriculums.
The three-story, state-of-the-art learning facility centralizes the institution’s Prep School program, which was utilizing academic spaces in five separate buildings across the campus. The new facility has classrooms, computer labs, music rooms as well as administrative offices. The building also includes a Health Services Center and space for Junior ROTC training.
The building defines the north edge of the newly restored Capitol Parade Ground and has a separate, secured entrance and interior courtyard. The new location provides the prep school students with greater access to all core student services, such as the cafeteria, bookstore and library.
