Charles Lawrence CDT, AICP
Heritage conservation planning, from the consideration and care of historic materials to comprehensive planning and redevelopment of historic built environments, is Charles’ specialty. Charles holds a Master’s degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania and has several years of experience managing historic preservation projects. Charles leads LAS’s conservation laboratory and preservation planning efforts. His experience includes on-site assessment and laboratory evaluation of historic building materials and systems and the development of treatment recommendations to achieve long-term stabilization and preservation. Charles is very engaged in his home city of Decatur where he lives with his wife and two children.
